You have arrived at the wallet setup guide! This document will help you set up and start using our platform in no time. Here's what you'll discover:

Description of Terms

Environment: An environment is an organization tool to provide segregation of testing vs. production workflows. API Keys are locked down by environment.

Wallet: A wallet is where your funds and credit balances are managed in a UI format. There are two wallet types. Development and Mainnet.

If you went through Voltage sales, you may already have an environment set up for you. If so, you may proceed directly to the Developer Guide. If you are going through the self serve flow, the following guide will walk you through initial setup to generate your first wallet for development and testing.

Your First Wallet

Once you are logged in to your account, you will be able to choose a New Environment. Click the New Environment button.

Next, give a name to your environment.

After the environment is created, click the Go to Environment button.

Manage Environment will give you options including deleting an environment. When ready, click Add New Wallet.

Give your wallet a custom name or choose a random one. Click Continue.
