Choose Credit-backed when Voltage provides the line of credit that backs Payments wallets and your team does not operate the underlying Lightning node.

Choose Node-backed when your organization controls the Lightning node and reserve beneath the Payments API. This path adds node credentials, backups, liquidity, monitoring, and treasury responsibilities.
